Abstract

Does the concept of fairness depend on the initial positions of individuals? Or instead, are concepts on unfair allocations neutral to such positions? To answer those questions, we use a setting with a symmetrized Ultimatum Game (abbreviated UG hereinafter) in which each individual plays twice, one as proposer and one as responder.
